We love this watch! It add a very traditional spin to a masculine TAG Heuer watch. The TAG Heuer Link Calibre 5 Men’s Watch has some features that cannot be denied.
The first is the amazing day window at the 12 o’clock marker that fully spells out and displays the day of the week. Underneath the day window is a TAG Heuer luxury watch Link logo right above the watch hands. Lastly, a date window sits right above the 6 o’clock marker.
A little history also says a lot about this watch. The TAG Heuer Link was created in 1987 and re-launched in 1999 and was a favorite of Ayrton Senna (above) in 1990. Ayrton Senna da Silva was a Brazilian race car driver and Formula One champion who was killed while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.
Other attributes of this TAG Heuer luxury watch include a stainless steel and 18k yellow gold case, transparent case back, screw down crown, polished stainless steel bezel, silver dial, gold tone luminous hand indicators and markers, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, two-tone brushed bracelet, automatic movement and 660 feet of water resistance.
It seems like its a tradition for TAG Heuer to release a TAG Heuer Monaco luxury watch during Baselworld. During Baselworld 2003 the TAG Heuer Sixty Nine Concept Watch was presented with a 1/1000th of a second chronograph endorsed by Steve McQueen. It also featured the digital face of the Microtimer.
Next, for Baselworld 2004 TAG Heuer released the TAG Heuer Monaco V4. This luxury watch included four barrels mounted in a V shape similar to motor racing engines.
This year for Baselworld 2009 the Monaco celebrates is 40th year anniversary and TAG Heuer will be releasing a new collection of Monaco’s with the TAG Heuer Calibre 12 automatic movement incorporated in to the original TAG Heuer Monaco design. The Monaco Classic Chronograph will include a dark blue alligator strap, silver and blue dial, red hands, and some cool animations incorporated in the dial.
Also, the TAG Heuer Monaco 1969 Original Re-Edition will be making it’s debut for the Monaco anniversary. TAG Heuer is republishing 1,000 of the original TAG Heuer Monaco watches signed by Jack Heuer and engraved by Steve McQueen.

The new TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch has a water resistance of 200 m and can be worn by comfortably because of the large 41 mm case. However what makes this watch unique is the design. The case is brushed with fine steel and on the case back a checkered flag motif can be found. The unidirectional turning bezel of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch is made of scratch resistance titanium carbide and the dial of the TAG Heuer watch includes hand-applied indexes, luminescent hands and markers. Another place to find the scratch resistant titanium carbide is the crown. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 crown is easily gripped and screwed in with a raised TAG Heuer logo.

You have to pass Stage 1 to be able to go to Stage 2… my best score was 82/100.. can you beat that?

Seems like every time you pick your head up a TAG Heuer watch has won something else. 2008 was a great year for the watchmakers, especially now, before the year ended, TAG Heuer won the 2008 Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève for the Grand CARRERA Calibre 36RS Caliper Chronograph.
