TAG Heuer has just opened an additional 3000 square meters of manufacturing space called the R&D Department at La Chaux de Fonds and plans to extend its production plant at Cornol.
That’s makes 2 new construction ventures on the project in the last two years. Last year, they finished the innovative and proclaimed “360″ degree museum.

The TAG Heuer Link Calibre S is the “techie’s” watch because it is fully loaded with some amazing technical specifications, new patents, and features all combined into a luxury sports watch. The TAG Heuer Link Calibre S watch has 230 components and 5 bidirectional micromotors… it’s a watch lover’s dream come true. Two special features of the watch include the reverse-movement date display that can be accessed in time mode and the different abilities of measuring time including simple time, split time and two interval times.
However, the electro-mechanical movement it what makes this watch so different from other sports watches; but watch exactly is an electro-mechanical movement? The hour, minute, and second hands of the TAG Heuer Link Calibre S Watch are angled and luminous for optimal reading at night. The case is approximately 42mm in diameter and includes satin-finished steel and completed with scratch resistant sapphire crystal on both sides, anti-reflective coating on both sides of the glass for increased legibility.

Last week TAG Heuer opened a new boutique in Budapest on 2. Andrassy Street in the heart of Europe. The TAG Heuer boutique is the first in Europe and will provide consumers with an entire collection of all TAG Heuer products including eye wear, accessories, and watches.
Honorary Chairman Mr. Jack W. Heuer was there to celebrate the opening with 50 VIP guest. Mr. Heuer was excited to open the new TAG Heuer boutique in what he and many others call the “Paris of the East”.
TAG Heuer has launched its new TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch. The new TAG Heuer watch is made for speed. The chronograph not only boast 1/10th of a second, but also displays hours, minutes small seconds, and a date at the 3 o’clock marker.
The new TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch has a water resistance of 200 m and can be worn by comfortably because of the large 41 mm case. However what makes this watch unique is the design. The case is brushed with fine steel and on the case back a checkered flag motif can be found. The unidirectional turning bezel of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch is made of scratch resistance titanium carbide and the dial of the TAG Heuer watch includes hand-applied indexes, luminescent hands and markers. Another place to find the scratch resistant titanium carbide is the crown. The TAG Heuer Formula 1 crown is easily gripped and screwed in with a raised TAG Heuer logo.
The bracelet includes a rough yet pleasing design feature to the TAG Heuer Formula 1. Although you can get the bracelet in stainless steel, the black rubber strap looks great and comes with a double safety clasp and steel pin buckle.
Kimi Raikkonen, who won the Formula One World Championship last year, has designed the Speedway glasses for TAG Heuer:
