TAG Heuer Link Calibre 5

We love this watch! It add a very traditional spin to a masculine TAG Heuer watch. The TAG Heuer Link Calibre 5 Men’s Watch has some features that cannot be denied.

The first is the amazing day window at the 12 o’clock marker that fully spells out and displays the day of the week. Underneath the day window is a TAG Heuer luxury watch Link logo right above the watch hands. Lastly, a date window sits right above the 6 o’clock marker.

A little history also says a lot about this watch. The TAG Heuer Link was created in 1987 and re-launched in 1999 and was a favorite of Ayrton Senna (above) in 1990. Ayrton Senna da Silva was a Brazilian race car driver and Formula One champion who was killed while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.

Other attributes of this TAG Heuer luxury watch include a stainless steel and 18k yellow gold case, transparent case back, screw down crown, polished stainless steel bezel, silver dial, gold tone luminous hand indicators and markers, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, two-tone brushed bracelet, automatic movement and 660 feet of water resistance.

TAG Heuer presents 2 Monaco luxury watches for Baselworld 2009

It seems like its a tradition for TAG Heuer to release a TAG Heuer Monaco luxury watch during Baselworld. During Baselworld 2003 the TAG Heuer Sixty Nine Concept Watch was presented with a 1/1000th of a second chronograph endorsed by Steve McQueen. It also featured the digital face of the Microtimer.

Next, for Baselworld 2004 TAG Heuer released the TAG Heuer Monaco V4.  This luxury watch included four barrels mounted in a V shape similar to motor racing engines.

This year for Baselworld 2009 the Monaco celebrates is 40th year anniversary and TAG Heuer will be releasing a new collection of Monaco’s with the TAG Heuer Calibre 12 automatic movement incorporated in to the original TAG Heuer Monaco design.  The Monaco Classic Chronograph will include a dark blue alligator strap, silver and blue dial, red hands, and some cool animations incorporated in the dial.

Also, the TAG Heuer Monaco 1969 Original Re-Edition will be making it’s debut for the Monaco anniversary.  TAG Heuer is republishing 1,000 of the original TAG Heuer Monaco watches signed by Jack Heuer and engraved  by Steve McQueen.

TAG Heuer Docking GPS-GSM

TAG Heuer does timing products like no one else in the world.  The TAG Heuer CP 540 Docking stationcombines tech suaveness and precision to offer a great timing device.

The TAG Heuer docking stations has a  GSM / CDMA module that allows the timer to wirelessly transmit timing information.  Additionally, a lithium-ion re chargeable batter helps insure that the timing session will continue regardless of temperatures.

The TAG Heuer CP 540 also features a satellite option that will allow the device to be synchronized to the exact time of day based on GPS and ultimate precision.  Other synchronization features include the ability to synchronize multiple CP 540’s together creating a input and output connection so that time of day is precise on every device. Lastly, the timer can use the CP 540 to synchronize every device connected to it.

TAG Heuer Times Race Of Champions Event

December 14th is an exciting day for TAG Heuer, the Race of Champions will be at Wembley, for the second time, and TAG Heuer will be in the middle of it all.

Since 2004 TAG Heuer has been the official timekeeper and official partner of the Race of Champions.  This year, TAG Heuer is extremely excited because one of their own brand ambassadors, Sebastian Vettel, will be in the lineup of drivers competing.   Sebastian Vettel is German’s younger winner of the F1 Grand Prix and is a TAG Heuer Brand Ambassador.

The Race of Champions Cup is a competition for the world’s best circuit and off road drivers where 2 Cups are up for grabs.  One cup is The Nations’ Cup designed for a race of 8 different nations competing in a knock out elimination competition.

Even more exciting (above) is that before the Race of Nation Cup event Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes road car will duel it out with Chris Hoy on his bike…. all timed by TAG Heuer.

Introducing The New TAG Heuer Formula 1 Watch

TAG Heuer has launched its new TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch.  The new TAG Heuer watch is made for speed.  The chronograph not only boast 1/10th of a second, but also displays hours, minutes small seconds, and a date at the 3 o’clock marker.

The new TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch has a water resistance of 200 m and can be worn by comfortably because of the large  41 mm case.  However what makes this watch unique is the design.  The case is brushed with fine steel and on the case back a checkered flag motif can be found. The unidirectional turning bezel of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch is made of scratch resistance titanium carbide and the dial of the TAG Heuer watch includes hand-applied indexes, luminescent hands and markers. Another place to find the scratch resistant titanium carbide is the crown.  The TAG Heuer Formula 1 crown is easily gripped and screwed in with a raised TAG Heuer logo.

The bracelet includes a rough yet pleasing design feature to the TAG Heuer Formula 1.  Although you can get the bracelet in stainless steel, the black rubber strap looks great and comes with a double safety clasp and steel pin buckle.

TAG Heuer launches a new website specifically for the TAG Heuer SLR Laptimer which allows you to try the TAG Heuer SLR Laptimer in three modes: Time Mode, Chrono Mode, and Best Lap Moderight from your computer.

Additionally on the site you can check out a number of movies including Introduction, The Movie, and The Race. Each one is pretty interesting to watch.

Lastly, the new website has games for TAG Heuer enthusiast Entitled Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 2 comes out on December 5th of this year. In Stage 1 you have to start the Chronograph when the signal says go and the car takes off. You have to stop the chronograph at 100 mph exactly to get a perfect score. You have to pass Stage 1 to be able to go to Stage 2… my best score was 82/100.. can you beat that?
