TAG Heuer was founding in 1860 by Edouard Heuer.  In 1869 he patented a crown winding mechanism for pocket watches and won a silver medal for the advancement during the Universal Exhibition in Paris
Next, TAG Heuer began to develop its passion for speed.  In 1911 Heuer patented the coveted dashboard chronograph for aircrafts and cars.
